TricTrac 420 - The Ultimate Backgammon Variant Discover TricTrac 420, the most tactical and atmospheric variant of classic backgammon! While traditional backgammon is known worldwide, this specific game holds a legendary status in Dutch coffeeshops. It is the definitive game that has been played at wooden tables for decades, accompanied by a relaxed vibe, good music, and pure concentration. With TricTrac 420, we bring that authentic, laid-back coffeeshop experience straight to your smartphone or tablet, wrapped in a beautiful, dark design with premium responsive felt skins and physical 3D dice. It resembles Backgammon, but with a deeper tactical edge. Just like in backgammon, your goal is to move your checkers strategically across the board and be the first to bear off all your pieces. But beware: TricTrac introduces unique rules that completely alter the dynamics: The Legendary 1-2 Roll: Did you roll a 1 and a 2? Congratulations, you have a TricTrac! This unlocks a rare bonus sequence that allows you to take up to 8 steps in a single turn. Double Bonus: Do you roll doubles? Then you don't just play out your moves, you immediately earn an extra roll to leave your opponent behind for good. The Merciless Final Turn: Do you think you've won because all your checkers are off the board? The opponent always gets one final chance to force a draw or a spectacular comeback with a perfect roll. Three Ways to Play Online Multiplayer: Challenge your friends via a direct invite link or play against random opponents through fast matchmaking. The hardcore rules are verified server-side; no cheating possible. Offline against the AI: No internet? No problem. Test your skills against progressive AI opponents, from the relaxed Mellow Marley to the unbeatable The Hashashin. Local (Pass & Play): Transform your device into a real physical game board. Lay your phone or tablet flat on the table and play 1v1 face-to-face, just like in the coffeeshop. Competitive & Customizable Rise in the Rankings: Every online match counts toward your global ELO rating. Work your way up from the lower tiers to the absolute top division. Weekly Seasons: Compete in the weekly leaderboards and earn exclusive seasonal medals for your profile. Collect Unique Badges: Unlock rare achievements by pulling off masterstrokes on the board. VIP Cosmetics: Fully customize your gaming experience. Choose from various premium felt designs (such as refined wood or intarsia stars) and unique dice skins. Roll the dice, claim your spot on the leaderboard, and experience the unique thrill of TricTrac 420. No ads, pure gameplay. Available in Dutch and English.
