Train your musical ear through games. NoteHunter is two apps in one: a guided Journey that teaches music the way real teachers do, and a Free Play sandbox where serious musicians drill the skills they actually need. LEARN: A FULL MUSIC THEORY COURSE (NEW) Nine units and 47 short lessons cover how music actually works: the staff, note names, rhythm and meter, scales, keys and the circle of fifths, intervals, chords, and cadences. Every lesson plays what it teaches, and quick drills after each one make sure it stuck. THE JOURNEY (great for kids, parents, and beginners) A step-by-step path through four biomes: Meadow, Forest, Mountains, and Ocean. Each biome adds new skills in the order music education actually teaches them. Higher or Lower comparisons, melodic contour, Sol-Mi singing, intervals, rhythm patterns, and sight reading. A friendly Bear mascot walks the map with you. Meadow and Forest are free; Mountains and Ocean unlock with Premium. FREE PLAY (for musicians who know what they want to practice) Jump into any drill at any difficulty: • Note Practice: identify random notes across your chosen pitch range • Interval Training: recognize the distance between two notes • Rhythm Hunter: drag and drop beats, from quarter notes to complex syncopation • Sheet Reading: read notes from the staff with adjustable difficulty ranges INSIDE EVERY MODE • AI Coach gives personalized tips and explanations as you play • Add reference notes to ground your practice • Multiple time signatures (4/4, 3/4, 2/4, 6/8) • Track streaks, accuracy, and progress across all modes • Haptic feedback so you feel every beat • Piano, guitar, violin, and flute sounds • Game Center leaderboards and achievements For kids, parents, music students, singers, and any musician who wants stronger ears. Violearn teaches you to read violin sheet music, then listens while you play it. LEARN THE NOTES, IN ORDER A guided path from open strings to the full fingerboard, in short steps. The first step shows you where each note is; the next ones take the help away and mix in notes you have already learned, so they stay fresh; the last checks what stuck. Fifteen lessons, one string at a time, then the keys of D, G, A, E, C, F and B flat. PRACTICE THAT TARGETS WHAT YOU MISS Every answer is remembered. The daily review quietly serves you more of the notes you get wrong and fewer of the ones you have already mastered, so ten minutes goes exactly where it is needed. PRACTISE YOUR OWN MUSIC Bring in the piece your teacher gave you. Photograph the printed page and Violearn reads the notes for you; check what it read and fix anything it got wrong. Or import a MusicXML file from any notation app. Either way, Violearn builds a practice plan for it: a warm-up for what the piece asks, its own scale, its hardest bars slowly and back up to tempo, then the whole piece. A WHOLE PRACTICE SESSION, GUIDED Tune up, warm up, scales, then real music — in order, with the clock running. Today's practice starts from the plan you did last time. Nine traditional pieces are included, from Hot Cross Buns to Pachelbel's Canon. SHARE YOUR WEEK Send your teacher a picture of your week's practice: minutes each day, where you are in the lessons, the notes to work on and your hardest bars. PLAY, AND BE HEARD Violearn listens to your violin through the microphone and follows you note by note as the music scrolls past. Set how strict it should be: forgiving while you are finding the positions, strict when you are working on intonation. A TUNER THAT MEANS IT A chromatic tuner accurate to the cent, with a tap-to-hear reference for each string. Calibrate to your own instrument so every note is judged against your violin rather than a textbook. WATCH YOURSELF IMPROVE Accuracy for every note on the staff, daily practice streaks, and a "needs work" list that shrinks as you learn. BUILT FOR PRACTISING No account. No setup. Works on iPhone and iPad, in portrait or landscape — prop the iPad on a music stand and read from it. YOUR PRACTICE STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE Recordings are never stored or sent anywhere. The microphone is used only while you are actually playing. Music you add is stored only on your device; when you ask Violearn to read a photo, a picture of each line of music is sent to Google's Gemini to be read. —— Terms of Use: https://sfanale.github.io/violearn-site/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://sfanale.github.io/violearn-site/
