Developed by a father for his 4th grade daughter and 1st grade son! Give this app a try now! REAL REVIEWS FROM REAL USERS “My 3rd grader loves it! No distractions, just plain straight up flash cards. Bravo!” “Easy to use and fun for my kids.” “I was also frustrated with the other apps loaded with ads, ridiculous yearly subscription fees, etc., when all I wanted was a simple app for my kid. I thought “this shouldn’t be hard to develop - maybe I should go learn how.” Looks like you were way ahead of me! Thanks for this wonderful service!” “This is a perfect app for challenging your kid with time tables.” “Simple, clean, no distractions, no ads boxes at all, no IAP, the child has to actually give/write the answer and not simply choose out of a few multiple choice answer buttons. Thank you to the app designer and developer for helping any parent and child who uses this app to effectively lean their times tables. And for free with no hidden costs, many thanks!” HOW THIS APP CAME TO BE Frustrated with all the questionable options available in the App Store, I decided to create my own times tables fluency app for my daughter when she was in 4th grade. I wanted her to have a simple app without any distraction. The app has now grown into a full math facts app. While not technically a math game, this app has proven to be kind of addictive for her as she tries to beat her best score while completing 100 questions in less than 5 minutes. What often starts as a 10-minute practice ends up being multiple rounds of multiplications totaling well over 10 minutes. That’s a win in my books, and I hope it will be a win in yours too! Pricing: Monthly subscription is $5.99 per month, or the yearly subscription is $19.99 per year, following the 7-day free trial. Prices may vary by region. Why "Hard First" Works After nearly 30 years in schools, the same pattern showed up again and again: kids do not struggle with every multiplication fact. They struggle with the sevens, eights, and nines. Those are the facts kids often cannot skip count quickly in their heads, so they get stuck and start guessing. TimeTable Express was born from a real tutoring session. A seventh-grader in pre-algebra was falling behind because her multiplication facts were slowing her down. A quick card game changed that. She flipped cards and raced to answer, starting with the nines, then the eights, then the sevens. Once past the sixes, everything got easier. That experience revealed the core insight: why overwhelm kids with all 100 multiplication facts when only 36 need focused memorization? It is a triangle from 2x2 through 9x9, the Multiplication Pyramid, and mastering it from the top down works. How the Levels Are Structured Instead of starting with the 1s and 2s like most multiplication apps, TimeTable Express tackles the biggest obstacles first. The progression begins at 9x9, works through the 8s and 7s, then moves into the 6s, 5s, and lower. By the time students reach the easier facts, they have already practiced the hardest ones. The app still covers multiplication facts over time. Focused memorization targets the 36 key facts, and the difficulty curve runs backward by design. Students who work through all seven levels practice the hardest multiplication problems first and build confidence as they progress. More Than a Flashcard App Traditional math drills are passive: see a fact, recall an answer, repeat. TimeTable Express makes multiplication practice active through drag-and-drop interaction, level-based progression, score tracking, and badge rewards. Students who resist flashcard drilling may engage more willingly with the same math facts when they are wrapped inside an interactive challenge. The methodology came from real classrooms and real tutoring sessions, not a textbook theory. Download TimeTable Express to start your 7-day free trial. A paid subscription is required after the trial to access gameplay, levels, badges, score tracking, tutorials, and parent/teacher progress dashboards. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin and your payment method will be charged automatically.
