DualFrame Cam is a creative camera built for people who want more complete and more shareable photos the moment they shoot. Instead of capturing first and fixing everything later, it helps you make better composition and styling decisions before pressing the shutter. The app uses dual live previews so one shot can hold atmosphere, subject, reaction, and detail at the same time. With the Classic Triple template, a single shutter press captures the top frame, the bottom frame, and an auto-generated mirror frame together. It works especially well for selfies, portraits, outfits, cafe shots, travel moments, food photos, and everyday visual storytelling. The app currently includes 4 layout templates: Classic Triple, Wide + Vertical, Dual Vertical, and Vertical Picture-in-Picture. You can choose a layout based on the result you want instead of manually rethinking framing every time. Version 3.0 adds an optional Live Photo output. A new Live Photo toggle sits at the top of the camera screen, starts off on every launch, and is never remembered between sessions, so nothing records until you turn it on. Turn it on, and the merged shot is saved as a real iOS Live Photo that plays with a long press in the Photos app, so you can post it with a moment of motion attached. Live Photos also play right inside the app: press and hold one in the history view to watch it, without leaving the app. The movie is built on device: the still and a locally generated short clip are paired in your photo library through matching content identifiers. It runs about 3 seconds, roughly 1.5 seconds before and after the shutter, at a 1080 long side, and it carries the same filters, effects, and stickers as the still, so long-press playback matches the preview. The top and bottom source frames and the mirror frame keep saving as still images exactly as before. No microphone permission is requested and the movie holds no audio track. Live Photo turns itself off with a message in Low Power Mode, when the device gets hot, when storage runs low, or when the app moves to the background, and if you shoot before it is ready only the stills are saved. With the toggle off, the capture flow is identical to version 2.2 and costs nothing extra. The app includes 50 filters across the Portrait, JK Atmosphere, and Vintage groups plus a set of mood looks, and each pane can still use its own filter and strength for richer dual-frame results. It also includes funny effects and creative stickers organized across Cute, Mood, Doodle, Date, Fun, and Cats categories, using the same drag, scale, rotate, and export flow. With one shutter press, the app saves both key source frames and final merged results based on the selected template, making it easy to share immediately or keep the sources for later use. DualFrame Cam stays fully offline with no ads, no account, no subscription, and no photo upload. Open it, shoot, save, and move on without distraction. If you want a camera app that helps you create photos that feel more complete, more expressive, and more ready to post, DualFrame Cam is built for exactly that.
