WeALocal
Read full descriptionHide full description
WeALocal is a network diagnostics tool that checks which sites and services are reachable from your current connection — and pinpoints exactly where the connection breaks down when something doesn't load. Instead of a plain "site unavailable," WeALocal walks through DNS resolution, the TCP handshake, the TLS handshake, and the HTTP response in sequence, showing precisely which layer failed. That's a real diagnosis, not a guess. How it works: • One tap checks dozens of popular sites and services • Results are grouped by category: government & finance, social media, messengers, video, news, shopping, tools • Each site shows its availability status and response time • Categories with issues show the full list — what works and what doesn't • Can't find the site you need on the list — check any address on its own, no need to add it, results in seconds • The site list is fully customizable: add your own addresses, edit categories, remove what you don't need — and restore the default set anytime with one button • The results screen also shows your own network: external IP, provider, country, and a VPN indicator • Results are easy to share — a clean summary card instead of a phone screenshot The app runs entirely on your device: no accounts, no ads, no tracking. Every check is made directly from your iPhone or iPad. WeALocal is for anyone who wants to actually understand their network's current state, instead of guessing why a site won't load.
