BodyGuardian™ Sync vs ACHIEVE study

The BodyGuardian™ Sync mobile app is published by Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostic Services, LLC. This is a tool to assist you as a decision-maker and to enhance your experience with the Boston Scientific Cardiac Diagnostic Services process. You will now have the option of receiving a push notification versus a phone call to alert you of an event report. All patient events will remain in the app for 14 days. Installing this app will not change your notification settings defined in your Service Level Agreement or Stoplight Protocol.

If you have Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) and you are pregnant, it is important to control your blood sugar (glucose) levels to avoid problems for both you and your baby. Problems can include serious health issues for you, like severe sickness during pregnancy, high blood pressure during pregnancy, needing special care after birth, and for your baby, like abnormal growth and being born early. Keeping your blood sugar levels stable can lower the risk of these problems. To help manage T2D during pregnancy, it is recommended to take medicine regularly and make healthy lifestyle changes. The ACHIEVE app is one tool that can help you keep your blood sugar levels in check while you are pregnant and struggling to control your blood sugar. The ACHIEVE app integrates with the DEXCOM G7 Continous Glucose Monitor. The app is currently only available to study participants at the Ohio State University Medical Center Achieve Study funded by the Agency for Health Care Quality and Research. Here's how the ACHIEVE app works: Personalized Support: The app gives you personalized advice and assistance for managing your diabetes during pregnancy. It also helps you with other important needs like transportation, food, and housing support if these are challenges you are experiencing. Tracking Your Data: The app collects information about your health. You can fill out surveys and track your blood sugar levels using a continuous glucose monitoring device. This information is then shared with both you and your healthcare team. Promoting Discussions: The data collected by the app helps start conversations between you and your healthcare team about your goals and preferences for managing diabetes during pregnancy. Using the ACHIEVE app as part of your overall strategy can improve your chances of controlling your blood sugar levels while you are pregnant and living with T2D.
