Verdict
Americans and Outside Days both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Outside Days's written reviews are positive against 50% of Americans's. Americans's advantage is ratings volume (267 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
