Since the days of Saint Mark, the Coptic Orthodox Church has prayed the same words. Koptos carries them in your pocket — the Holy Bible, the Agpeya and the prayers of Holy Week, in Coptic, English and Arabic. Open any chapter and the three languages stand side by side, column beside column. Read in the one you think in, the one you pray in, or all three at once. THE HOLY BIBLE All 73 books of the Coptic canon. Highlight a verse, keep a note beside it, or save it to return to. A verse waits for you each morning. THE AGPEYA Every hour of the daily prayers, from Prime to the Midnight Prayer, with the Psalms in full. Ask Koptos to remind you, and each hour arrives at its proper time. THE HOLY PASCHA Holy Week hour by hour, from the eve of Palm Sunday through Good Friday, as the Church prays it — the Coptic, the English and the Arabic together. THE SYNAXARIUM The saint remembered on every day of the Coptic year, their life told in full. Turn back a day or forward a day with a swipe. FEASTS AND FASTS The Coptic calendar, its months and its seasons, so you always know where you stand in the year. THE COPTIC TRANSLATOR Move between Coptic, English and Arabic a word or a verse at a time — with the pronunciation spelled out, so you can say it aloud rather than only read it. FIND A CHURCH More than 600 Coptic Orthodox churches across the world, with addresses, phone numbers and directions. It works with no signal at all. BIBLE QUIZ Questions drawn from the Scriptures, a new contest each week, and a leaderboard to climb. Koptos works offline once installed — on a plane, in a village, in the middle of the liturgy. There are no adverts. Nothing is sold. Your reading is yours alone and is never tracked. An account is optional. It exists for one purpose: to carry your notes, your highlights and your quiz progress to your next phone.
