Sappa uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to detect and show you nearby peers — in near realtime! After years of testing, research, and development we have built our own proprietary BLE framework that works across multiple operating systems, even in the background state! We have made sure that the app doesn't drain any extra battery even after days of prolonged usage. For the app to work, your device must have Bluetooth enabled. Additionally, enabling location services makes our system work more efficiently and helps in faster detection of peers!
