Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: RunKit at 53 against Runner Runner's 1. Runner Runner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Runner Runner sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and RunKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Runner Runner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RunKit has 53 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Runner Runner ships an update weekly, RunKit fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
