The "Digital Decumanus" app takes you on a journey through the history and cultural heritage of Thessaloniki, offering an interactive way to explore the city’s monuments and archaeological sites. Through photographs and texts, you can learn about the history, architecture, and significance of each monument, as documented by the Ephorate of Antiquities of Thessaloniki City. At the information points, your experience becomes even more engaging through Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Using your device’s camera, you can view 3D representations of the monuments and interact with them. Whether you are a resident of Thessaloniki or a visitor, this app provides a modern gateway to the past and serves as a unique guide to some of the city’s monuments.
