MINTour Neustadt vs ProtAct17

Die MINTour Neustadt ist eine kostenlose und werbefreie App, die durch die Innenstadt von Neustadt an der Weinstraße führt und an verschiedenen Stationen zu den MINT Themen Mathematik, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften und Technik herausfordert. Knacke den Code, schätze das Müllaufkommen, erfahre mehr über das Neustadter Grundwasser. Gestartet wird mit vier Stationen, je eine zu den MINT-Themen. Die App ist ortsbasiert, das heißt die Stationen können nur vor Ort in Neustadt an der jeweiligen Station aufgerufen und die Inhalte aktivieren werden. Es gibt keine vorgegebene Route und es ist auch nicht zwingend notwendig, alle Stationen auf einmal anzusteuern.

The app aims to provide children and adolescents with a playful approach to the complex topic of sustainability and the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations. ProtAct17 imparts knowledge in an age-appropriate and interactive way, arouses curiosity and the spirit of research through virtual and real experiments, addresses current and future challenges for the environment, economy and society and shows their own – albeit small – possibilities for action. Inspiring and empowering students to protect the environment (Protect) and to take action in line with the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations (Act) – this is the idea behind the app. Using the scan mode, children can bring the app's poster to life and explore the topics step by step.
