Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Infinity Lighting at 100% against Surplife's 53%. Infinity Lighting also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.5). Surplife's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (1.2K vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Surplife holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Surplife has 1.2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Infinity Lighting's written reviews are positive against 53% of Surplife's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Infinity Lighting ships an update every 6 weeks, Surplife fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
