TrainKeeper helps you identify and log trains as you spot them. Point your iPhone at a train number. On-device text recognition reads UIC / NVR codes, parses their parts, and helps you find the vehicle type, country, operator, and model when it’s in the catalog. Whether you’re a railfan, a train spotter, or just wondering “what train is this?”, TrainKeeper gives you tools to find out and a private logbook for what you’ve seen. Scan and recognize • Scan a UIC / vehicle number with the camera or from a photo • Parse vehicle type, country code, series, ordinal number, and check digit • Validate check digits and review or correct recognized text • Use image processing to help with difficult photos Identify the train • Look up the operator and country from the vehicle number • Find a model or class in the train catalog, such as Siemens Vectron, ICE 4, or Talent 2 • Understand vehicle types, from locomotives to maintenance vehicles Save your sightings • Keep sightings with photos, dates, and locations • Use photo location and date metadata when available • Build a searchable train library with detailed entries Explore the context • View sightings on a map and explore collection insights • Add a nearby track or route reference when railway data is available • Keep notes on special catches and memorable journeys Share your sightings • Create photo cards with train details and location • Choose a 9:16 story layout, app logo, and timestamp • Share selected sightings privately with friends Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
