Flashcard Dictionary is an English dictionary that helps you remember the words you look up. Look up a word, read a clear definition written for learners, and hear a native speaker say it. Tap the star to save it and it goes into your Saved Words. From then on Flashcard Dictionary schedules reviews for you: words you know well come back after a long time, words you keep missing come back soon. Flip the card, think, and say whether you remembered. FEATURES • Lookups: definitions from Wiktionary, written for learners of English, with pronunciations recorded by native speakers on Wikimedia Commons. The dictionary comes with the app, so most words look up without a connection. • Saved Words: every saved word is colour-coded by familiarity, from To learn to Learning to Memorized. • Flashcards: the word on the front, the definition and an example on the back. One question per card: do you remember it? • Spaced review: intervals come from the open-source FSRS algorithm, the same family of scheduler Anki uses. Only words that are due are offered, up to 12 cards per session. • AI review (optional): before a card flips, say or type what an English word means, and AI checks your answer. Turn it on from the review card on Home or in Settings › Review mode. • Home: see how many words are due today, how many sit at each familiarity level, and when the next review is. • Recent lookups stay on Home so you can go back to them. • English and 简体中文 interface, switchable in Settings › App language. In 中文, English words also show their Chinese meanings. • Korean: look up and review Korean words too (Settings › Learning language). PREMIUM The free version lets you save 10 words and use every review feature, including 10 AI checks a day. Premium removes the word limit and allows up to 100 AI checks a day. Premium is an auto-renewable subscription billed monthly or yearly through your Apple Account; cancel anytime in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before the current period ends. PRIVACY No account needed. Your lookups, saved words and progress stay on your phone. If you turn on AI review, the text of your answer is sent with the word and its meanings to our server in Hong Kong and on to DeepSeek to be checked. Speech is turned into text on your phone, or by Apple's speech recognition when your phone can't do it. We never receive a recording, and our server doesn't keep your answers.
