About

Trig Point

Trig plans your running and your lifting together, in one of four modes: Runner, Bodybuilder, Powerlifter or Hybrid. I'm a heavier runner who came back to lifting, and the apps I tried planned one or the other and were built for someone chasing a PR. So I built Trig. FREE, NO SUBSCRIPTION Heat Pace: Trig reads the temperature and the dew point where you are. Pick easy or intervals, put in the pace you're aiming for, and it tells you what pace to run today, unless it's too hot to give one. Intervals get half the adjustment, since the reps are short. Logging, history, charts and records for every workout. Export My Data as CSV files you keep. TRIG COACH - SUBSCRIPTION OR LIFETIME Everything in this part needs Trig Coach. Four modes Runner: a week-by-week plan to race day, from a 5K up to a marathon, built from the running you've actually done in Apple Health. Your Season adds goal races and tune-ups. Run-Walk is there for getting back into running. Bodybuilder and Powerlifter: training built around the days you pick and the equipment you have, with a How To for every lift. Hybrid: running and lifting in the same week, starting with Ease-In weeks. Today Open the app and today's workout is right there. When Trig changes something, Today says what changed and why. Smarter weights Each set comes filled in, with what you did last time right next to it. The rest timer starts itself. Trig checks your warm-up and how the effort felt. When a lift stalls, it offers the next step. Nothing changes until you say yes. Paste a Workout Paste text or a screenshot from anywhere. Trig shows what it read in plain words and marks anything it couldn't tell, so you pick the weight. Meet Day Powerlifters pick an opener, second and third attempt from their own logged lifts, then print the attempt card. Hot days When it's too hot for Heat Pace to give a pace, Trig turns a hard run into an easy run at the same distance and tells you why. Missed a week Trig eases you back in and never adds the missed work on top. Any change it makes shows the reason and an Undo. Runs from Apple Health Runs recorded elsewhere come in from Apple Health once, never twice, and count toward your plan. Also Print or share a workout sheet. Find a race: when RunSignup has it, Trig fills in the date and distance. Race predictor: from a recent race you enter, or from 8 weeks of your runs. PRIVACY No account No ads No tracking Your Health data is never sent to me Pasted screenshots are read on your phone Workouts go to Health only if you allow it PRICING Heat Pace, logging, history, charts and export are free. Trig Coach is $7.99 a month or $49.99 a year, and both start with 14 days free. Lifetime is $99.99 one time, and you have Trig Coach for good. Prices are in US dollars and may vary by country. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple Account settings. If you start a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends. Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Trig is a training tool, not medical advice. Check with your doctor before you start a new training plan.
