TinyDuties

Three small things with your child every day: a conversation at dinner, a job around the house, and a responsibility of their own. TinyDuties is for parents of children aged 4 to 16. You use the app; your child joins in at the table and around the house, not on a screen. Now and then you learn something alongside them, or remember what you had forgotten. EVENING TALK Questions with no right answer: philosophy, world cultures, human history, feelings, getting along with others. Siblings talk about the same topic at their own level: a simple version for the youngest, a deeper one for the older. SKILL LADDERS Ten ladders: tidying their room, laundry, the kitchen, housework, money, repairs, safety and first aid, travel, getting around and social skills. Each is made of small steps. When your child starts doing a step on their own, you say so and the next one opens. No points, no prizes, no comparisons. THE WHOLE FAMILY Invite a partner, a grandparent or a carer with a code. When one of you ticks a card, everyone sees it. COUNTRY OF THE WEEK Pick a country each week: talk about it on Monday and cook its dish together on Sunday. Its capital, its language, one word and one surprising fact, and every country stamps your child's passport. THE MONTH'S PROGRAM Each month has one big skill, a small project for every week, and on the first Sunday a question about being a citizen of the world. Every other week brings an idea for a museum, gallery or garden visit. CHILD MODE Open it on your child's own tablet, or lend them your phone for a while. They see the day's cards on a big, simple screen and tick off what they finish. It closes only with a code you choose. GOALS OF YOUR OWN Add what the list is missing: the pet, the violin, swimming⦠A one-step task, a whole new skill ladder, or a "today's mission" for one child. Edit one of the app's ladders your way, and add categories and countries of your own. Every goal has a sticker and, if you like, a real reward. READ-ALOUD FOR THE YOUNGEST Children who cannot read yet hear their cards read aloud in child mode, and get a notification when a mission arrives. AGES 4 TO 16 Talks come in a teen version, with responsibilities and ladder steps for teenagers. LIFE JOURNEY What they said at dinner, the countries you explored, the places you visited and everything they started doing on their own add up through the year: "The year I discovered the world". OUR PRINCIPLES ⒠10 to 20 minutes a day is enough ⒠A missed day is not made up; tomorrow you carry on ⒠A wonky bed stays wonky: the job is your child's ⒠No ads, and children's data is never sold Available in English and Turkish. Follows your phone's light or dark theme.
