Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Notchify at none against Notch Kit's shown. Notch Kit's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notch Kit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notchify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Notch Kit holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notch Kit has 162 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 75% and 75% positive.
Notch Kit ships an update weekly, Notchify every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
