The Faronics MDM companion app serves as an extension to our mobile device management (MDM) solution, empowering administrators with a comprehensive tool for device management and security. This application operates under two modes: Standard and Lite. The Standard mode, requiring profile enrollment, provides a robust set of features. It aligns with the traditional concept of MDM, delivering a comprehensive suite of device management capabilities that prioritize both security and control. Our Lite mode is tailored with flexibility and co-existence with existing MDM solutions in mind. It allows administrators to gather essential device information for inventory purposes, monitor device locations, and send messages to devices without mandating full MDM control. The unique aspect of this mode is its ability to work seamlessly alongside existing MDM solutions. Further to these, the application houses a messaging system that enables the reception of crucial updates directly from the MDM console. This ensures a streamlined communication channel for timely updates and critical alerts. The Documents feature lets users view resources shared by administrators, ensuring relevant materials are available at their fingertips. Additionally, the Location History feature secures a detailed log of the device’s movements, providing invaluable data for maintaining device security and tracking organizational assets.

The Mobile Device Manager Plus MSP app is tailored to simplify device management for MSP IT admins. A separate customer selection view enables admins to keep an eye on multiple customer's devices while ensuring security.  Scan devices to keep them in contact with the MDM server, and view extensive device details through OS, Network or storage summaries. While on the go, reset passwords, or remotely power-off devices right before off hours. Set a 'Lost Mode' on stolen devices, to track device location(s) and completely erase data in extreme scenarios.In short, all the devices you have enrolled into your Mobile Device Manager Plus MSP web console, can be managed and monitored from the convenience of this mobile app. With the Mobile Device Manager Plus MSP app, the following tasks can be done: - Monitor and track accurate device details. - View multiple customers' devices systematically - Scan devices to maintain server-device contact - Fetch OS Summary, Network Summary & Device SummaryReset and clear device passcodesObtain accurate geographical location(s) of devices - Enable Lost Mode to locate stolen devices and secure corporate data. - Trigger a remote alarm on devices - Completely erase all data from devices, or erase only corporate information.
