Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Float at 4.7 against X Browser's 3.4. Float also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (64% vs 38%). X Browser's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
