Mahali Store vs Bastah

Mahali is the region’s first one-stop-shop marketplace to offer a retail and food platform for homegrown talent in the UAE to showcase and sell their items through the MAHALI platform. Mahali brings together the different talents and creative designs created by small home business owners ranging from beautifully designed abayas, Arabic dresses, and jewelry, to beauty and skincare products, as well as delightful food, dessert, and drinks.

Bastah is a platform that provides a space for home-based entrepreneurs to display their products easily. The naming comes from the Arabic word بسطة , which means: Rug. This refers to a place where products are displayed as done culturally in the past. Bastah is a multi-vendor app and platform designed for small home businesses to set up a simple store to sell their products. Based in the UAE, Bastah targets home businesses and their customers to provide them with a platform that simplifies the selling and order management process, makes it easier for customers to discover new brands, and supports home businesses to grow their reach and business.
