Ettend vs ROSTA

Ettend is a comprehensive event networking app that allows attendees to connect with people ahead of the event. You can seek out people you’d like to meet prior to an event. Attendees get access to attendee directory and also features private messaging and a meeting scheduler tool. This allows you to arrange your day in advance, maximising your networking opportunities. It also allows attendees to share digital business cards, ensuring an easier route to a post event relationship. This app allows attendees to create detailed bios and provides contact-less information sharing in Quick Response Code form. Attendees need to login with the provided credentials and can scan other attendees’ QR codes to get their information and share their QR code to share his or her information.

ROSTA is a professional network for people who are building something right now. It is not a place to collect contacts. It is a place to be introduced to the people who can actually help. HOW IT WORKS Say what you are building and what you need. The people you are connected to can see it. When one of them knows the person who could help, they make the introduction. You can also ask any member directly, and they decide. Either way, both people agree before a conversation opens. Nobody can message you until you have accepted them. WHAT IS INSIDE Signals. Three short fields on your profile: what you are working on, what you need right now, and what you are open to. Present tense, not a career history. Warm introductions. Ask a mutual connection to put you in touch, or do the same for two people who should obviously know each other. Networking Mode. A switch you flip for the next hour or the rest of the afternoon. It turns itself off, so nobody is left looking available weeks after they stopped being available. What's On. A curated list of what is worth turning up to, and which of your connections are going. Private notes. Keep a record of who you met, what you discussed and what you said you would do. Only ever visible to you. WHAT YOU WILL NOT FIND No follower counts. Your connections are not a scoreboard. No ranked timeline. Nothing is reordered by an algorithm deciding who deserves your attention today. No endorsements from people you met once. No cold messages. A message is only possible once you have accepted the connection. ROSTA PREMIUM ROSTA is free to use. Premium adds AI tools that help refine your signals and draft a first message, insight into who has viewed your profile, priority placement in the member directory, and the ability to submit events for the community.
