GCIT Children’s Centre (GCITCC) is a community not-for-profit childcare centre established in 1995. We have been operating for over 25 years offering high quality care to the Benowa/Ashmore community. We offer a friendly home-like environment where children feel safe and secure. We provide the highest quality of care, employing fully qualified educators to nurture and develop children to their fullest potential. We provide a curriculum that is of a high standard and will meet the individual, educational and developmental needs of each child that attends the centre. We cater to children from 6 weeks of age up until 12 years of age. Children are actively involved in a variety of experiences throughout their day at GCIT. We are a community centre that values family input and offer many ways that you can become involved in your child’s life here at the centre.

THRIVARY connects parents, carers and early childhood practitioners to real time guidance, information and learning on all thing’s early childhood development and intervention for developing children (0-8 yrs), especially children with disability and/or development delay. THRIVARY features tailored learning journeys that walk parents and carers through each age and stage of early childhood, while providing activities to support their child’s development, and questions to reflect on if and when a child may need additional developmental support. THRIVARY’s library of resources and community support groups guide parents, carers and early childhood practitioners to evidence based best practice information and resources, and to the various community groups and organisations across Australia that support them. With THRIVARY, parents and carers can track their child’s development journey using note taking and appointment scheduling tools that provide parents and carers an easy way to manage their child’s unique developmental needs.
