“Qariah” translates to a woman Quran reciter. While there are many public Qariahs around the globe in countries like Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria and Yemen, it is not a well known term in many Muslim communities in the west. Thus, the Qariah app aims to mainstream the term Qariah for women and ease accessing recitations of Qariahs…so that when little girls ask their mothers or aunts or sisters or homegirls, “Why are there no women Quran reciters?” The answer will be a resounding, “There are an uncountable number of them- and God willing, you and I can be them too!” →Global We feature over 60 women representing cultures all around the world: from Tanzania to Indonesia, Australia to Spain, Morocco to Somalia, Canada to Pakistan, Algeria to Guinea, the Philippines to The Gambia, Singapore to Palestine, Nigeria to Malaysia, the United States to Egypt, Yemen to Mauritania and more. →Qualified Each Qariah has memorized the Quran or holds an ijaza (license to teach), or is a national or international Quran competition winner or a qualified Quran teacher. The app showcases women’s scholarship with Quran and aims to inspire women across the globe to pursue Quranic understanding, memorization, and contemplative recitation. →Expansive Listen to the Quran in multiple qira’aat (methods of recitation) including Hafs ‘an ‘Asim, Shu'bah 'an 'Aasim, Warsh ‘an Nafi, Al-Doori 'an Abi 'Amr, Khalaf 'an Hamza, Qaloon ‘an Nafi, and Qaloon Biqasr Almunfasil wa Iskaan Meem AlJam.

“We have made it easy to learn lessons from the Quran: will anyone take heed?” — Surah Al-Qamar (54:17) Murajaa is a structured Qur’an revision and daily reading app designed to help you build a consistent and lasting connection with the Qur’an. Whether you are memorizing (Hifz), revising what you already know, or maintaining a daily reading routine, Murajaa organizes your Murajaa schedules and daily reading plans across the 5 daily prayers so you can stay disciplined and spiritually connected every day. At the heart of the app is an intelligent algorithm that distributes your memorized portions evenly over a selected number of days, according to your chosen intensity (1 week, 1.5 weeks, and more). This ensures balanced, organized, and sustainable revision without overload, helping you retain what you have memorized long term. Murajaa also includes a complete digital Mus’haf with the ability to download different riwayat such as Hafs and Warsh, along with multiple layouts and formats to suit your preference. You can add bookmarks, create favorites, and highlight verses in any color to personalize your study and revision experience. To strengthen memorization through listening, the app provides access to various reciters and allows you to listen to the current verses you are revising. You can also upload your own recitations to review, self-correct, and improve your fluency and precision. For deeper understanding, each verse can be accompanied by its translation and tafsir, helping you connect memorization with meaning. A built-in quiz mode allows you to test your retention by identifying the previous or next verse and challenging your recall accuracy. Murajaa is more than a planner — it is a complete system for organized Qur’an revision, daily reading, listening, reflection, and memorization, helping you stay consistent and connected to the Qur’an every single day.
