Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and other cloud services don’t offer built-in tools to find and remove duplicates. If you store many files in the cloud, it’s easy to lose control and waste space. Automatic mobile backups make this problem even worse. DeDuplicate scans your cloud storage, finds identical files, and lets you remove the extra copies to free up space. How it works: 1) Log into your account. 2) Choose one or more folders (or the entire drive) and start the scan. Scan time depends on the NUMBER of files, not their size. 3) Review the detected duplicates and optionally ignore some of them. 4) Confirm the operation. What makes DeDuplicate different: • Efficient and fast: files are NOT downloaded. DeDuplicate uses metadata provided by cloud services, so it saves bandwidth, requires no extra storage, and scans are very quick (e.g. ~100,000 files in under 10 minutes, depending on network speed). • Accurate detection: only EXACT duplicates are detected using file hash values. File names are ignored; contents must be identical. • Privacy-first: everything runs locally on your device. The app connects directly to cloud providers, with no intermediary servers and no file data collection. • Cross-platform support. DeDuplicate currently supports the following cloud services: (PERSONAL ACCOUNTS - see notes below!) • OneDrive • Dropbox • Google Drive (∗) • MEGA • Box • pCloud • Yandex.Disk IMPORTANT: DeDuplicate is designed and tested primarily with PERSONAL/CONSUMER ACCOUNTS. Business, school, or enterprise accounts may behave differently and are not fully supported yet. Improving support for those account types is planned for a future update! NOTES ABOUT GOOGLE DRIVE: - Due to recent changes in Google’s requirements for third-party apps, DeDuplicate currently does not have a “verified” status. You can still use Google Drive normally, but signing in requires a small workaround, which is explained step by step inside the app! - Google proprietary file types (such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.) are treated specially by Google Drive and are NOT included in DeDuplicate’s scan. WHY DO YOU NEED THIS APP? Until now, the only practical way to remove duplicates from cloud storage was a very time-consuming workaround: downloading everything to your computer, using one of the many “offline” duplicate-file utilities, and then syncing the changes back to the cloud. In the worst-case scenario, this even means re-uploading everything from scratch. That’s hardly a viable option when you have over 500 GB of unorganized cat pictures :) DeDuplicate is actively developed. If you encounter any issues, please take the time to contact us!

About

Tadapool

One pool for the gift. Everyone in it can see it. Tadapool isn't a bill splitter. It's the simple, transparent way friends, colleagues and family chip in for a birthday, a wedding or a farewell — and decide together what to buy. Nobody is assigned a share. One person starts the pool, everyone gives what they like, and the whole group sees the same numbers. THREE STEPS, THEN IT RUNS ITSELF 1. Start the pool Name the occasion, pick a date and a currency, set a target if you want one — or leave it open. Choose how people can pay you: Bizum, Wise, bank transfer, cash. 2. Invite your people Pick friends from your list, or drop a link in the group chat. They say yes or no, so you know who's actually in before you count on the money. Nobody outside the pool can see it. 3. Chip in and choose Everyone contributes what they like and leaves a note. Suggest gift ideas, vote on them, and watch the pool fill. BUILT FOR THE AWKWARD BITS • Invite, then know — Being added isn't the same as agreeing. People say "count me in", and only you, the organiser, see who hasn't replied yet. • One number, same for all — Every contribution is listed with who, when, how and a note. No private spreadsheet, no "did you get mine?" messages. • Decide the gift together — Suggest ideas with a price and a description, vote, and let the top choice win. The group picks the present, not the loudest person in the chat. • Pay however you already pay — Bizum, Wise, bank transfer or cash. You publish the instructions once; contributors see exactly where to send it. • Hide the amount — Give what you can without it being a scoreboard. Others see that you chipped in; only the organiser, who has to reconcile the money, sees how much. • Join with a link — Whoever opens it joins as invited. They still say yes or no, you still see the whole list, and the pool stays yours to close. • Nudges, not nagging — People are notified when they're invited, when someone chips in and when the gift is chosen. You send one reminder instead of ten messages. FRIENDS AND HELD MONEY Somebody is always holding somebody's cash. A friend hands you €20 at dinner for a gift t. That money is real, it is theirs, and until now it lived in your head. They log it, you accept it, and it becomes a balance between the two of you. Then, when the pool comes, you put some or all of it in under their name: their balance drops by exactly what you spent, the pool goes up by the same, and nobody counts it twice. • Two sides, never netted into one confusing number — what you hold and what they hold stay separate, in each currency. • Nothing lands on a balance until the other person accepts it. A balance is never a claim one of you made alone. • Every request keeps its amount, method and date, waiting on whoever owes the answer. No TADAPOOL NEVER TOUCHES THE MONEY There is no wallet, no card on file and no payment processing. People pay the organiser directly, the way they already do — Tadapool keeps the record so everyone can see the same thing. That's why it's free, why there are no fees, and why nothing is ever held up in transfer. • Invite-only, always. Every pool is private: only the people you invite can see the amout. • A record, not a transaction. Saying "count me in" charges nothing — you choose the amount and pay when you're ready. • History that can't be quietly edited. Contributions carry who recorded them and who acc Start a pool for the next birthday — tadapool.com
