Magnet Weight Calculator (MagCal) is a practical tool built for the magnet industry. Quickly estimate magnet weight and volume from product dimensions and material density — ideal for quoting, incoming inspection, and production planning. KEY FEATURES • One-tap calculation: Select material and shape, enter dimensions (mm), get weight (g) and volume (mm³) instantly • Multiple shapes: Block, Cylinder, Ring, and Custom for complex geometries • Built-in materials: Sintered NdFeB, Bonded NdFeB, SmCo, Ferrite, Alnico, FeCrCo and more • Customizable parameters: Add, edit, or remove materials and densities to match your grades and processes • Fully offline: All calculations run locally on your device — no internet required CALCULATION METHODS • Block: Volume = Length × Width × Height • Cylinder: Volume = π × Radius² × Height • Ring: Volume = π × (Outer Radius² − Inner Radius²) × Height • Custom: Enter product volume directly • Weight = Volume × Density ÷ 1000, displayed to 4 decimal places WHO IT'S FOR Magnet sales teams, procurement staff, QC inspectors, product engineers, and manufacturing technicians. PRIVACY The App does not collect personal data or upload any information. Material settings are stored locally on your device only.
