Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: 真好算 at free against Calculator's free with in-app purchases. 真好算 also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Calculator's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Calculator sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and 真好算 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
真好算 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Calculator's written reviews are positive against 67% of 真好算's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Calculator ships an update every 2 months, 真好算 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
