Rainbog: Flight Era is a pilot-career game where every flight you fly becomes a line in your personal logbook. Pick a contract, brief the route, inspect the aircraft, fly across the Rilmark Archipelago, land on the centreline and stamp the entry. Your logged hours, landings and night time unlock licences, aircraft and new aerodromes. ONE FLIGHT, FIVE DECISIONS • Contracts board — charters, mail runs, cargo, medevac, coastal surveys, ferry flights and skywriting commissions, each with a client, a route, pay and rules like "smooth ride", "on time" or "fuel budget". The board refreshes every day. • Briefing — distance and bearing, destination runway, weather decoded from a METAR line with a live crosswind component, aircraft choice and a fuel-load decision. • Walkaround — a top-down aircraft with ten inspection hotspots and a real checklist. Find the nicked propeller, the water in the fuel or the pitot cover you forgot. Miss a fault and it comes back mid-flight. • Flight — a live map of the islands. Steer heading, set altitude, ride the wind, dodge weather cells, pass waypoints in order and answer ATC calls with the correct readback. • Landing — a perspective runway approach with PAPI lights, glide-slope needle and a crosswind that never stops pushing. Hold the centreline, flare in the window, get graded. THE SKYLOG • A logbook styled after a real pilot's: leather cover, paper pages, totals carried forward, day and night filters. • Every entry keeps its flown track, remarks written from what actually happened, a 1–5 star grade and a rubber stamp. • Track replay with smoke trail and scrubber. • Statistics — hours per month, hours by aircraft, grade distribution, longest leg, best landing, favourite aerodrome, flying streak. • Licence ladder — Student → Private → Instrument → Commercial → Airline Captain. Each rung needs hours, landings, night time and a passed checkride. • Eighteen Wings to earn, from First Entry to Angel Flight. SKYWRITING STUDIO Steer the plane along letter strokes and lay smoke to write words in the sky, or draw anything freehand and watch the aircraft trace it. Skywriting contracts fly a real leg and then write the client's word over the destination. Save your artwork to Photos. SKY SCANNER AND COCKPIT POSTCARD Photograph the real sky and SkyLog forges the in-game weather from it — cloud cover, visibility, wind, gusts and storms become your next METAR. Frame a cockpit postcard with a live HUD overlay and save it. Photos never leave your device. GROUND SCHOOL • Chapters on the phonetic alphabet, light-gun signals, airspace, METAR decoding, the wind triangle, night flying and engine failure. • Scenario-based checkrides with an examiner and the reasoning behind every answer. • Emergency drills — engine failure, fire on start, radio failure, carburettor icing, lost over the sea. • E6B flight computer — wind triangle, endurance and range, crosswind components, time-speed-distance. HANGAR AND WORLD Six aircraft from trainer to turboprop, each with three upgrade levels. Twelve aerodromes on seven islands, an interactive atlas and an animated weather room with tap-to-decode METAR. TREASURY Coins are earned by flying. Optional coin packs and the one-time Captain's Pass (free board refreshes, cheaper upgrades) are shortcuts, never gates. SkyLog is designed for iPhone and iPad in portrait, with a deep-navy glass interface, a synthesised soundtrack and haptics you can switch off. Optional notifications remind you when a new contracts board is ready. Take off, hold the slope, and fill the logbook one line at a time.
