Verdict
Farcaster and Blobs both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Blobs's written reviews are positive against 50% of Farcaster's. Blobs also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 16). Farcaster's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 56). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
