About Vijayalakshmi Nirvana At the heart of Nirvana Academy’s vision is Vijayalakshmi Nirvana, an adept Yoga Therapist with over 11 years of experience in holistic healing and spiritual instruction. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Yoga & Spirituality from S-VYASA University and a Master’s in Yoga Therapy from Manipal University, equipping her with deep insight into both traditional and contemporary approaches to well-being. Vijayalakshmi’s journey began in the Gurukula system of education at Maithreyee Gurukulam, where her primary and secondary education immersed her in Veda Mantras, Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and Yoga Shastra. This rare foundation instilled in her a deep reverence for Indian tradition, culture, and spiritual philosophy—shaping the path she walks and teaches today. What sets Vijayalakshmi apart is her seamless integration of ancient wisdom and modern therapeutic knowledge. Whether she is guiding students through a mantra-based healing practice or designing a therapeutic yoga module for women’s health, her approach remains holistic, grounded, and compassionate. Her work has helped thousands find balance in body, mind, and spirit—making her one of the most sought-after teachers in this field. She believes that spirituality is not merely a pursuit of the intellect, but a lived experience, anchored in daily sadhana, inner silence, and heartfelt devotion.
