echor is a quiet note-taking app for saving ideas that come to you and lines that stay with you—without organizing them, so you can encounter them again someday. Folders aren’t your thing. Keeping notes neatly organized never lasts. Still, when a phrase comes to mind or a sentence feels worth remembering, you want somewhere to leave it without letting it disappear. That’s what echor is for. Most note apps are designed to organize information or help you work more efficiently. But not every thought can be categorized right away. An idea before it becomes a story. A line that lingers after a book or film. Something someone said that you can’t quite forget. A feeling you don’t yet have a name for. A seed of an idea that may become something someday. echor is a place to quietly leave those small fragments, without deciding where they belong. ■ Capture a thought as soon as it appears Save short lines and ideas the moment they come to you. ・Seeds for stories and creative work ・Lines from books and novels ・Dialogue from films and comics ・Fragments of conversation ・Late-night thoughts, unease, and realizations ・Quotes and phrases you want to revisit No folders or categories required. Leave a thought just as it is, before you organize it. ■ Rediscover words from your past Three of your saved entries appear unexpectedly in speech bubbles. Something your past self wrote may reach you differently now. New ideas may emerge from the unexpected combination of words shown together. Notifications can also bring back something you saved before. Not to remind you of a task, but to help you encounter a forgotten thought again. ■ Look back on what you’ve collected All the words you’ve saved are always available in one list. Even without careful organization, they gradually accumulate over time. When something no longer needs to stay, you can let it go. ■ Keep longer thoughts in Notes When an idea or piece of writing is too long for a short entry, you can keep it in Notes. A place for fragments, and a place to think a little longer. Both can live in the same app. ■ Copy, share, back up, and restore Copy saved words as text or turn them into an image to share. Backup and restore are supported, so your words can move with you when you change devices. You don’t have to write every day like a diary. You don’t have to organize everything neatly like a notebook. It doesn’t have to be productive like a work memo.
