Do you enjoy high fps and resolution clips but dread the tedious process of searching through hours of footage to find a moment? Seemingly, clipping software for standalone Meta Quest has eliminated the process of searching for moments, but in practice, the results are limited by an inability to capture clips at the higher quality recording settings offered by Meta recording or extensions such as Ocular Migraine. Flashback VR Clipping is a mobile companion app to the Meta Quest app Flashback Clipping which syncs to your headset and–with your voice–allows you to capture clips’ whose quality surpasses that which was previously obtainable. Captured clips sync to your mobile device, and in Flashback can be edited, deleted, or saved. Such clips are stored locally, and Flashback collects no personal data. To use Flashback, the Meta Quest app must also be installed—they work in tandem. They do not entirely function by themselves, but together they offer an extremely useful service. Search “Flashback Clipping” on the Meta Quest Store for the other component to this product.
