Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: APB Connect at 4.7 against MegaWash's 2.7. APB Connect also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 41 months) and ratings volume (43 vs 7). MegaWash's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 33%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
APB Connect holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: APB Connect has 43 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of MegaWash's written reviews are positive against 33% of APB Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MegaWash ships an update every 41 months, APB Connect every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
