Readence — English Original Reading Companion Reading original English books is not difficult because of every unfamiliar word. The real challenge is understanding the right meaning in context, following complex sentences, and keeping the ideas that truly matter. Readence helps you read English originals naturally — understand faster, keep reading, and turn meaningful discoveries into lasting knowledge. 1. Understand words in their real context A word can have many meanings, but only one fits the sentence you are reading. Tap any word to view definitions, pronunciation, and the original context. AI can also analyze the sentence and explain why a specific meaning fits here. Instead of memorizing endless dictionary entries, understand what the word actually means in the story. 2. Understand complex sentences without translating word by word Long sentences often become difficult because of structure, not vocabulary. Readence breaks sentences into meaningful chunks, showing the core structure, relationships between phrases, and how the sentence is built. Follow the author’s original thinking instead of translating every word. 3. Save insights while reading, organize them later Great ideas often appear when you are deeply focused on reading. With Readence, save important sentences, expressions, and ideas instantly without interrupting your reading flow. After finishing a chapter or a book, organize your saved content with AI-generated mind maps. Review, edit, move, and refine your knowledge structure at your own pace. Features • Import EPUB and PDF books • Convert web articles into EPUB for reading • Tap words and sentences with full context preserved • Context-aware word explanations powered by AI • Sentence structure analysis and phrase breakdown • Save words, phrases, sentences, and original passages • Word, phrase, sentence pronunciation and full-book reading • Daily review and long-term vocabulary retention • Save reading insights and organize them later • AI-generated and editable mind maps • Cross-book knowledge organization with links to original locations • Reading statistics including time, words, speed, and review progress • Private iCloud sync for your reading data AI features are optional. You can use your own API Key in AI Services. Basic reading, dictionary lookup, saving, and review features do not require AI. Premium access does not include third-party AI model usage fees. Actual costs depend on the service provider. Readence is not another vocabulary exercise app. Read the books you love. Get help when you need it. Keep the ideas worth remembering.
