The clearest difference is ratings volume: Maxx Group at 60 against Mianimed's 1. Mianimed's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.4). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Maxx Group against 5.0 for Mianimed. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Maxx Group has 60 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Maxx Group ships an update fortnightly, Mianimed every 4 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
