MD Vinyl Music App holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MD Vinyl Music App has 29K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of MD Vinyl Music App's written reviews are positive against 71% of RecordScratch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MD Vinyl Music App ships an update weekly, RecordScratch fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
