Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Word Match 3D at every 2 days against PPSSPP's every 4 weeks. Word Match 3D also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). PPSSPP's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (2.8K vs 36). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
