Verdict
Edge LED and EdgeGra both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of EdgeGra's written reviews are positive against 0% of Edge LED's. EdgeGra also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (65 vs 3). Edge LED's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). Both are free to download. EdgeGra sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Edge LED asks for nothing beyond the download.
Edge LED holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EdgeGra has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Edge LED's written reviews are positive against 79% of EdgeGra's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Edge LED ships an update every 2 weeks, EdgeGra every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
