Diddo vs Homestead Keeper Planner

Hit your goals by tracking how much time you spent doing them. For example, if you want to study for two hours every day, this is the app for you. You can track how much time you spent studying.

Homestead Keeper is a property, garden, orchard, crop and livestock planner built for people who run a homestead, backyard farm, or rural property. It keeps your animals, garden, equipment, and supplies organized in one place. No accounts created, ever, and no cloud required to get started. Your data stays on your devices. TRACK EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS Add items for the things you manage: laying hens, dairy goats, fruit trees, raised beds, well pumps, tractors, fencing, beehives, and anything else on your property. Each item gets its own history, photos, reminders, and logs. LOG WORK WITHOUT LEAVING THE PAGE Quick-action buttons open inline panels directly inside an item's detail view. Log a feeding, weigh-in, egg count, milk yield, harvest, treatment, or service record without navigating to a separate form. See your last entry while you fill in the new one. REMINDERS THAT ACTUALLY HELP Set reminders for seasonal tasks, recurring maintenance, and one-off jobs. Link a checklist template to a reminder so the steps are ready when you run it. Overdue items surface on the Today tab so nothing slips through. BUILT FOR EVERY PART OF YOUR PROPERTY Specialized areas for Animals, Garden, Orchard, Bees and Apiary, Equipment, Property, Water Systems, Off-grid Systems, Forestry, Inventory, Food and Pantry, Weather, Wildlife, Emergency Prep, and Projects. Each area has quick-action buttons tuned to that type of work. PRODUCTION AND ANIMAL HUSBANDRY Track egg counts, milk production, honey harvests, wool, and meat by animal or flock. Log feedings with feed type, quantity, and cost. Record weigh-ins and view weight trends over time. Track breeding dates, expected due dates, and birth outcomes. REPORTS THAT SHOW THE FULL PICTURE Built-in reports: Logbook, Cost Summary, Inventory, Production, Animal Care, Animal Feed Costs, Garden Season, Warranty Countdown, Upcoming Chores, Homestead Summary, Maintenance Overview, and Property Handoff. Filter by area, date range, and record type. Export as PDF or CSV with Pro. TEMPLATES AND CHECKLISTS Create reusable checklists for tasks you repeat. Assign them to items, link them to reminders, or apply them while logging work. Track which steps were completed during each session. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE No account to create. No data sent to a server. Everything is stored locally on your Apple devices. Back up and restore your full homestead profile when you need it.
