RFDS LifeFlight vs Rave Recommendations

Using the power of Augmented Reality on your smartphone, discover the stories of patients, crew, and the latest addition to the fleet itself - the Pilatus PC-24, provided through ongoing support to RFDS by Rio Tinto. Drop the plane at your feet or on a table top as a 3D model to learn and discover from, or when outdoors visualise it at real scale, walking around it as if it were actually there. In ‘Explore' mode you can delve into a digital twin of the Rio Tinto LifeFlight jet. An Augmented Reality exploration on engine parts, cockpit controls, medical components, and more. After you have navigated through the plane, get immersed in ‘Story’ mode and find out what life is like in the RFDS. Featuring insightful interviews with key members of the RFDS team. ‘Take Off’ mode enables you to see the plane in flight, as the doors close, engine starts, and the wheels retract to soar the jet into the air. Be part of the team with the RFDS LifeFlight app!

At Rave, we believe the best recommendations come from people, not algorithms. When you first sign up, you build your taste profile by adding a book, movie or show, and podcast or artist you've enjoyed recently. We use these to match you with others on Rave who share your taste, and surface their recommendations directly to you. Every day at 7am, you get a new recommendation to enjoy - a book, podcast episode, article, or anything else worth your time - curated by someone just like you. No algorithms, no ads, no ai. Just real recommendations from real people.
