Statement (5/12/25): It is recommended to use the latest versions of the Console App (01.03.21), Mobile App (1.1.0 or above), and Firmware (1.03.05) together. We cannot guarantee compatibility of the latest Console App, Mobile App, and Firmware versions with previous revisions. Foundation Series Mobile App is an application used to program the Foundation Series fire alarm control units manufactured and sold by Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI). The Mobile App is capable of reading QR codes on JCI manufactured smoke detectors, initiating modules, and pull stations. The QR code information is stored on the user’s smart device. The user can add a location label and other information to the scanned device information. The user can then upload the devices information into the addressable Foundation Series fire alarm control unit using NFC between the fire alarm control unit and the Mobile App.

The login credentials are for the FD demo account, which has leadership access to everything. New users cannot self-register, so please use the demo credentials. The demo department is seeded with a live call, training, messaging, polls, events and pre-plans. MEMBER RESPONSE (phone) 1. On the home screen, tap the active CHEST PAIN call at 92 Vine St to open the response view. 2. The map shows the incident, hydrants, pre-plans, and other members already responding, with their ETAs. Members who turned location sharing off are listed with an ETA but no map pin. 3. Tap "Respond" and choose "Scene" or "Station 1". 4. The Preplan tab shows the full pre-plan for the address. The green dot beside "Preplan" means one exists. 5. You can also tap a pre-plan on the map and choose "Open pre-plan". APPARATUS KIOSK (iPad, landscape) The kiosk is a separate mode for an iPad mounted in a fire truck. 1. Log in on an iPad in landscape and tap the iPad icon in the upper right. 2. Choose an apparatus (Engine 122 is already responding to the live call) and enter any 4-digit PIN to register. 3. The active 92 Vine St call appears. Tap View. 4. The Response map shows the truck's route and ETA. The Pre-plan tab shows the resident information for the address (ResponderReady): critical needs such as oxygen and mobility, who lives there, access, utilities and emergency contacts. 5. Under Equipment, Compartments shows the truck's compartments and the gear in each. 6. To leave kiosk mode, tap Exit (upper right) and enter the same 4-digit PIN. TRAINING 1. Open Training from the menu. Online trainings, including past-due ones, appear in the list. 2. Open one and tap "Mark Training Complete". It appears in your training history. BACKGROUND LOCATION 911 Analytics uses location only while a firefighter is responding to a call. After tapping "Respond", the member is driving to the station or scene, often with lights and sirens, and the app reports their position so the department sees their ETA and route. Sharing stops on its own when the member arrives, clears the call, or is assigned to a truck that has its own kiosk. A banner on the map shows while location is shared and has a "Stop sharing location" button for that run. Location is never sent when the member hasn't responded or the app is closed. Members can turn location sharing off in Settings. They still appear as responders with an ETA, but never with a map pin.
