About

Stillplay

Features

You used to make things. Photos, mixtapes, weird projects you never finished. The years got busy and most of that fell away. Stillplay gives you one creative prompt every day. A short thing, maybe ten minutes, maybe twenty. Today's might ask you to photograph the kitchen at 6pm. Tomorrow's could be sketching the mug, or sitting somewhere quiet without your phone. You do the thing, or you don't. The next day's prompt is there either way. There's no streak. No public feed. Notifications are off by default and there's no plan to turn them on. If you skip a week the app barely notices. Whatever you write or photograph stays on your phone, on the device, nowhere else. There's no account, no server. The only network call the whole app makes is an anonymous crash report, and only if it crashes. It's free. Try it for a week and see. stillplay@machinetype.com
