Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Vampire Trivia Challenge at free with in-app purchases against Gossip.'s subscription. Vampire Trivia Challenge also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Gossip.'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vampire Trivia Challenge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gossip. sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Vampire Trivia Challenge holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gossip. has 642 ratings behind it against 60, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Vampire Trivia Challenge's written reviews are positive against 85% of Gossip.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Vampire Trivia Challenge ships an update every 7 months, Gossip. monthly. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
