Pro features; - Unlimited entries - A clear button to clear all the check marks, units, promotions and prices in each shopping list, so you can reuse the list - Two more app icons, dark mode and gold - Calculator, use it without leaving the app Advantages: - You can budget your shoppings, create multiple lists - You can budget per shopping list, for even better control - You can compare the bill from the store with what you have tracked - You can see if the promotions are correctly billed (long press before the checkmark box to mark it) - You can store the list in the photo roll, it has a date, so you can see later if items you buy regularly have increased in price. You can also sort the list before saving for better comparison with the real store receipt. - In some stores you get discounts above a certain total or each x amount, now you can see in the store if you have reached this amount - You can copy lists, so you don't have to retype so much - You can see where you spent the most money on with, Where's my money? Some budget tips; You can give the main page title the name of the month and enter a global budget for this month. Then create shopping lists per store per week. For Example; Walmart-week1 Walmart-week2 Walmart-week3 Walmart-week4 If you don't want to track the price of each article, you can still monitor your budget progress by giving the first item the total price of the receipt. ROA is the operating system for professional kitchens. Recipes in notebooks. Inventory in someone's head. Prep on a whiteboard that gets wiped at the end of every shift. Professional kitchens run on tribal knowledge — and when one chef calls out, the whole system breaks. ROA cuts through the chaos. One connected platform for recipes, inventory, prep planning, and team workflows — built specifically for the back of house. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH ROA • Digitize Any Recipe Instantly Take a photo of a handwritten card, a PDF, or a printed sheet. ROA's AI parses ingredients, quantities, units, and instructions — then standardizes everything to your kitchen's spec. • Real-Time Inventory Track what's actually in your walk-in, dry store, and freezer. Stop guessing. Stop overstocking. Stop running out mid-service. • Recipe Costing & Yield Control Every recipe is linked to live ingredient pricing. See your food cost the moment a supplier price moves. • Menus That Stay In Sync Build menus from your recipe library. Update once, propagate everywhere — across sections, services, and sites. • Prep & Task Management Assign prep, track progress, hand off cleanly between shifts. No more "I thought you did it." • Ask ROA A kitchen-aware assistant that knows your recipes, your inventory, and your team. Ask in plain language; get answers in seconds. BUILT FOR PROFESSIONAL KITCHENS ROA is used by independent restaurants, multi-site groups, hotels, catering operations, and institutional kitchens. Designed with chefs from day one — not a generic productivity tool retrofitted for hospitality. WHY ROA Margins in foodservice are 3–6%. Every percentage point lost to waste, stockouts, or inconsistency is the difference between a kitchen that thrives and one that closes. ROA gives you visibility and control over the operations that move that margin. Stop running your kitchen from memory. Start running it from a single source of truth. — FoodWeb AI

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FoodWeb ROA at none against Shop Total's 1. FoodWeb ROA also leads on ads (none vs shown). Shop Total's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
