Cosplay 50 vs NerdSync

Cosplay 50 is for anyone interested in the cosplay scene and it’s completely free. It’s home to a growing collection of exclusive professional cosplay photos that you won’t find anywhere else, taken by a professional photographer traveling to conventions across the country. Cosplay 50 also maintains a regularly updated list of cosplay conventions to help you plan your next cosplay trip. # Activity Stream The activity stream provides a seamless on-the-go touch scrolling experience allowing you to quickly discover new content available in the Cosplay 50 app including our exclusive Golden Ticket photos, user contributed photos, videos, news, and updates shared by the community. Sign in to start contributing to the community by posting your own cosplay updates and photos directly from your phone, using your camera or selecting from your existing photos. Tap on Golden Ticket photos in the activity stream to view more details, then tap the photo again and pinch-to-zoom to see the finer details of each cosplay. Quickly share activities with friends using your favorite mobile messaging app. # Golden Tickets Cosplays We travel across the country with a truck-load of professional photography equipment in search of the best cosplays. We award Golden Tickets to the best cosplays allowing them to participate in a free photo shoot with a professional photographer. The Cosplay 50 app lets you search Golden Ticket cosplay photos by character and see where they were taken and when. Tap the convention when viewing a Golden Ticket to see more Golden Ticket cosplays from the same convention. # Cosplay Conventions Find upcoming virtual and physical conventions in every US state. Cosplay 50 allows you to search conventions by name, in person vs virtual, upcoming, past and custom dates. Find conventions where we’ve held Golden Ticket photo shoots and learn where we’ll be next! You can also see which celebrity guests will be attending a convention. The app lets you easily share your favorite Golden Ticket cosplays, and conventions with friends via messaging platforms. We built Cosplay 50 to foster a friendly and inspiring cosplay community and we hope you’ll enjoy it!

Find your people. Real connections for real nerds. NerdSync is the friend-matching app for gamers, cosplayers, tabletop players, anime fans, coders, comic readers, and everyone in between. Age 18 and up only. Not a dating app — a community app where you can find a co-op partner, a D&D group, a convention buddy, or a genuine friend who finally gets the reference. Why NerdSync is different: • Vibe matching, not just photos. Answer a few quick questions about how you play and socialize, and we match you with people whose energy lines up with yours. • 40+ interests to pick from. From Warhammer and speedrunning to cosplay and indie games — tag what you actually care about and see who else does too. • Verified profiles. Optional selfie and government-ID verification means the person you meet is the person in the photos. A trust score surfaces the users who've put in the work. • Safer Mode. One toggle filters your feed to show only verified users above a minimum trust score. Built for anyone who wants an extra layer of calm. • Circles for women and LGBTQ+ nerds. Private, opt-in community spaces so you never have to wonder who else gets it. • Approximate location, never exact. We fuzz your coordinates before saving them. You'll see who's near without giving up where you live. • No endless swiping. Connections are mutual — send a request, get accepted, start chatting. No more matching into silence. • Group chats for circles. Talk with your whole community, not just one person at a time. 100% free. Every feature is available to every user — no subscription, no premium tier, no daily limits, no paywall. Built with safety in mind. Reporting and blocking are one tap away. We review every safety report. A dedicated trust & safety team investigates violations. Age-gated. You must be 18 or older to create an account. We verify ages at signup and enforce them on an ongoing basis. Stop scrolling through apps that don't understand what you're looking for. Install NerdSync and find the people who play your games, read your comics, and actually want to meet up.
