About

SOILHEALTH

The app was funded by the Australian National Landcare Programme Smart Farms Small Grants Round 2 to provide essential information about complex aspects of soil health in a digital format. The app includes an eBook (SOILS ARE ALIVE) which is a summary of key points about soil health. Podcasts on the SOILHEALTH app expand on the key points summarised in the eBook. The SOILHEALTH app also includes 7 professionally produced animated videos, each targeting a key area of biological components of soil health. Communication and use of the resources is an ongoing collaboration between The University of Western Australia and South West Catchments Council. Special thanks to Cheryl Rimmer for coordinating the SOILHEALTH app project. In particular Cheryl’s contributions to production of the eBook, the podcasts and to app development are greatly appreciated. Southwest Catchment Council collaborated in delivering the SOILHEALTH app. Peter Clifton’s contribution to this is gratefully acknowledged. Lush Digital produced the 7 SOILHEALTH animations for the SOILHEALTH app. Dotsquares programmed the SOILHEALTH app. Angela Rossen, Paul Rigby and UWA Farm staff Richard and Cathy McKenna made valuable contributions to the eBook. I thank the farming community for inspiration in delivering this resource and The University of Western Australia for underpinning the development of this soil health knowledge base through support of my teaching and research activities over decades. © Lynette K Abbott

About

arcoco

Your best words shouldn't arrive after the conversation. arcoco is the English game for saying what you mean with more clarity and confidence. You know the moments. The disagreement where the perfect reply came to you on the drive home. The meeting where you couldn't quite make your point. The friend you wanted to comfort when all you had was "that's tough." arcoco is practice for those moments, played with words worth reaching for. Careful, or meticulous? Honest, or candid? Learn the difference, then choose the word that fits. You already understand far more words than you use. arcoco works on that gap. Words come back for review to help them stick, and the goal is simple: to move a word from "I know what that means" to "I just said that." It plays like a game because it is one. Explore 790 words through pictures, meanings, sentence gaps and puzzles. In Pressure Test, catch the matching words before the piranhas do. In River Runner, steer a boat through the right word gates. More formats open up as you progress. A short self-assessment finds your starting level, then the game adapts as you play. Your Journal keeps the words you practice, with their meanings and their progress from new to mastered. Already comfortable in English? Build the range to be candid when honesty matters, tactful when feelings do, and succinct when every word counts. Play 3 free games a day in your first week, then 2 a day for as long as you like. No account or purchase required. No ads. Want more? arcoco Plus is optional. It adds unlimited games and the Streak Shield: five streak freezes for missed days, topped back up to five every 30 days while Plus is active. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Play your first free game. Find a word for something you've been trying to say.
