EVB Dashcam records the road ahead and draws what it sees over the live picture: your speed, the lane lines either side of you, and the gap to the vehicle in front. Now with offline maps and turn by turn directions, right beside the camera. Mount the phone and press Start. The app watches the road for the rest of the drive. When it picks up a jolt or a hard brake, it records a 20 second video clip so the moment is kept without you touching anything. Press the shutter button to start recording manually. WHAT IT DRAWS OVER THE LIVE CAMERA - Your speed, from GPS and the phone's motion sensors. - The lane lines either side of you, and the edge of the road. - Vehicles, people and traffic lights, each marked with a box. - The gap to the vehicle in front, in feet or meters, and the time to close it. WHAT IT SAVES - A 20 second clip around a jolt or a hard brake, starting ten seconds before it happened. - A video clip when manually pressing the shutter button. - Video clips, not hours of footage, so a drive costs megabytes and there is nothing to scrub through. - Every clip in one library, replayed with the same marks that were drawn over it live. - A storage limit you set, dropping the oldest clips first or holding new ones back. MAPS AND DIRECTIONS - Download your state's map once. Search places and addresses, and get directions, with no signal. - Turn by turn directions on screen and spoken, in feet and miles or in meters. - Add stops, compare other routes, and route around a road you find closed. - Keep the map beside the live camera, or full screen while you plan. WHAT STAYS ON THE PHONE - Footage and motion stay in the app on your phone. Nothing is uploaded. Maps are downloaded to the phone, and searching and directions run there. - Export a clip when you want to, with the speed, the gap and the position burned into the picture and the sensor log beside it as a CSV. - Make an account and we hold your name, your email, your sign in and session records, and any feedback you send us. Delete the account from inside the app and that goes with it. Built for iPhone 14 and later, a windscreen mount, and power on the long drives. An informational aid, not a driver assistance or warning system. Watch the road. Directions can be wrong. Road signs and the law come first. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
