Nitrox by Envivia vs Deco Room

[Master Nitrox] Nitrox is a premium digital guide dedicated to Nitrox diving (EANx). Designed to support divers in their training and progression, the app combines clear educational content, technical expertise, and reliable calculation tools to optimize every dive. [What Nitrox Allows You To Do] • Accurately calculate your MOD (Maximum Operating Depth)
• Manage oxygen partial pressure (PPO₂)
• Optimize your Nitrox dive planning using gradient factors
• Understand oxygen-related physiological limits
• Effectively prepare for your Nitrox certification [A True Educational Companion] Nitrox is designed for: Divers preparing for a Nitrox certification
Recreational divers looking to improve their safety
Experienced divers seeking to deepen their knowledge
Instructors looking for a structured and reliable support tool The app is more than just a calculator: it helps you understand, anticipate, and adapt your dive parameters. [Important] Nitrox is an educational aid for dive planning. It does not replace recognised training, your training agency’s procedures, or a dive computer. Every dive plan must be adapted to actual conditions, the divers’ experience, and the dive team’s agreed procedures. This is not a medical device. [Multilingual] Available in French, English, Spanish, Italian, and German. [About Nitrox Premium] • Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. • The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription. • Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off in the iTunes account settings after purchase. Deco Room is the course theory, planning tools and emergency reference for technical and rebreather divers. It is built for boats and remote sites, where there is no signal. There is no web page hiding inside this app. Nothing needs a connection to read a second time. COURSE THEORY Full written theory for the courses you are training on, in chapters you can read in a sitting rather than a syllabus you scroll past: • KISS Sidewinder MOD 1 — sidemount closed-circuit rebreather • Technical Diving Fundamentals — decompression, gas, procedures • Dive Computers and Decompression Management Chapters open with a question before they give you the answer, because you remember what you had to reach for. Diagrams, worked examples and interactive widgets are drawn live rather than pasted in as pictures, so they scale with your text size and stay legible on deck in the sun. PLANNING TOOLS Calculators that show their working: • Maximum operating depth, equivalent narcotic depth, best mix • Gas density against the 5.2 and 6.2 g/L limits • Surface air consumption and respiratory minute volume • Rock bottom and minimum gas • Isobaric counter-diffusion check • Partial-pressure blending • CNS oxygen clock • No-stop planning on ZH-L16C with gradient factors Every input is a bounded control, so you cannot quietly produce an impossible answer. THE EMERGENCY CARD Reachable before you sign in, and it works offline: • What to do before the call: diver out, flat, warm, oxygen on • The DAN and local emergency numbers for your region • An SBAR call script you can read straight down while somebody else asks the questions • A field guide to recognising what you are looking at REFERENCE LIBRARY Once you are enrolled, a shelf of curated diving and hyperbaric literature that opens inside the app, plus an offline search index over the research so you can look something up on a liveaboard. ACCESS Anyone can create an account and use the calculators, the schedule and the emergency card. Course theory and the library open once your instructor has enrolled you. These are taught courses, not a subscription. Deco Room is made by Donarun Das, a technical and rebreather instructor. The numbers in it are the ones taught in the courses. Not a substitute for training, supervision or medical advice. Decompression diving carries risk that no app removes.
