Vibes Map is user-generated vibe votes that help you find the special essence of a city. Vibes Map answers the question, ‘Where is it HAPPENING?’ Google Maps can tell you where the restaurants are, it can tell you how to navigate to the Eiffel Tower, but it can’t tell you where the ‘vibe’ is. Vibes are hard to define, but you know it when you feel it. Vibe: a characteristic emanation, aura, or spirit that infuses or vitalizes someone or something and that can be instinctively sensed or experienced.

The clearest difference is update cadence: Vipass App at every 3 weeks against Vibes Map's every 3 months. Vipass App also leads on ratings volume (15 vs 1). Vibes Map's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
