# EGK ECRL Map — Smart Journey Planning for Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link EGK ECRL Map is an iOS journey-planning app designed to help commuters, tourists, and travellers explore Malaysia’s East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), a 665 km rail network connecting the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia with the Klang Valley. Built with SwiftUI and MapKit, the app brings station discovery, route planning, fare information, and rail-network visualisation into one convenient interface. ## PLAN YOUR JOURNEY Select your departure and destination stations to explore your ECRL journey. The app helps users identify stations, view route information, and access published fare information where available. The passenger station network includes Kota Bharu, Pasir Puteh, Jerteh, Bandar Permaisuri, Kuala Terengganu, Dungun, Kemasik, Chukai, Cherating, Kuantan Port City, KotaSAS, Paya Besar, Maran, Temerloh, Bentong, ITT Gombak, Bandar Serendah, Puncak Alam, Kapar, and Jalan Kastam (Port Klang). ## FARE INFORMATION AT A GLANCE Explore published starting fares for selected routes, with Transit and Express options where announced: - **Gombak–KotaSAS:** Transit from RM60; Express from RM68. - **Gombak–Kuala Terengganu:** Transit from RM95; Express from RM110. - **Gombak–Kota Bharu:** Transit from RM125; Express from RM147. These are published starting fares, not guaranteed prices for every departure. Actual fares may vary according to travel time, demand, and seat availability. Other station-to-station fares should be displayed when verified information becomes available. ## EXPLORE THE RAIL NETWORK Use the interactive map to visualise the ECRL corridor and explore station locations. The app also provides a nearest-station feature using location coordinates, helping users identify a potentially convenient station. Map positions and distances should be treated as approximate unless verified against official alignment data. ## TRANSIT AND EXPRESS SERVICES Understand the distinction between the two announced service types. Transit services are planned to stop at scheduled stations, while Express services are planned to serve selected major stations. Check official service information before travelling. ## TIMETABLE AND TICKET UPDATES EGK ECRL Map is designed to present verified journey information as official schedules and ticketing details become available. Exact departure times, arrival times, and journey durations should only be shown when supported by an authoritative timetable. Passenger services have been announced with a target commencement date of 12 December 2026, subject to applicable safety and regulatory approvals. Ticket sales were expected to begin in mid-November 2026. Check official announcements for the latest status. ## PRIVACY-FOCUSED DESIGN Designed for Apple devices, EGK ECRL Map aims to provide a clean and convenient rail-planning experience. Its privacy and advertising statements should reflect the app’s actual data collection, permissions, and third-party integrations. Whether you are exploring Malaysia’s east coast or planning a connection to the Klang Valley, EGK ECRL Map brings essential ECRL route and fare information together in one place. **EGK ECRL Map — Explore the route. Understand the fare. Plan your journey.**
